Lucie is drawn to the variety and complexity that property offers. She loves seeing the intricacies of buildings, which gives her a deeper understanding of the built environment that surrounds us. She is pleased to join the Bayleys Building Consultancy Team, helping to deliver exceptional results to corporate clients across the country.

A dual citizen of France and New Zealand and bilingual, Lucie’s role in the team is Intern – Building Surveyor – Building Consultancy. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Property and a Bachelor of Commerce and will graduate at the end of 2023. Lucie gained industry experience after being with the Research team and the Building Consultancy team at Colliers. She is the recipient of the NZIBS Scholarship in Building Surveying. This award is the outcome of Lucie’s hard work over her university career and demonstrates her determination to achieve outstanding results. She is working towards being the first New Zealand female RICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor.

Lucie brings a strong eye for detail, which ensures optimal safety for building occupants. She provides a young, fresh perspective to the Bayleys Building Consultancy Team and specialises in preparing Premise Condition Reports.

Outside of work Lucie is a keen runner and has completed six half marathons and one marathon. She also enjoys snow sports, tennis and has started training for triathlons.

Lucie loves to volunteer for StarJam, an organisation that facilitates dance, singing and musical workshops for children with disabilities. She is pleased to have raised over $7,500 for the organisation over the time she has been involved with it.

Lucie thrives on constantly learning and adapting to market changes. She loves to continue to challenge herself and learn from her colleagues to gain a deeper understanding of buildings and the building surveying profession.
